Not at all, we’re more than happy to liaise with venue directly to ensure we plan accordingly.
Unfortunately not, all our repertoire is meticulously rehearsed by professional musicians which means we cannot take on the spot requests.
Of course! It would be a privilege for us to perform your first dance song - just give us as much notice as possible so we can prepare to deliver the best performance for you.
Yes - repertoire specific to each ensemble is available upon request, but you can be sure the choice of music is great.
A few things, Rich Soul Ensemble was set up by musicians with over twenty years professional industry experience. Through the years we’ve developed great relationships with some of the most talented musicians around the globe; we have West End stars, top session musicians from the top labels, who have played at some of the most prestigious venues throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
We also have a dedicated Artistic Director and Musical Director who both oversee choice of repertoire and their musical arrangements for all the genres we cover.
Our guide prices are based on our standard line ups (please see entertainment packages) performing at a venue within 50 miles from London. We charge travel costs for venues further than 100 miles, and we may charge extra for accommodation. Get in touch with details of your event for an accurate quote.
We also ask for a 20% deposit as is standard practice, payable upon booking confirmation.
Yes please, as is standard practice we ask for a hot meal and a soft drink to be provided for each band member which includes the sound engineer, or £14 per band member to buy their own food which can be added to fee.
We strive to use the same members of each ensemble, although we have a number of rehearsed deputies at the same standard if not better, who can step in if any of the musicians are already booked or pulled away due to unforeseen circumstances. The important thing to remember is that the professional musicians you have will be there to give you a musical experience of the highest quality.
As aforementioned, on occasion musician line-ups may be subject to change and this may occur without notice unless the Act is of significant celebrity, or the Event Organiser has requested a specific member in agreement with the Act.
Where applicable, wherever possible the Act should utilise the band line-up as represented to the Event Organiser, unless the need arises to substitute a performer due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness). The Act will have substitutes known as a Deputy or ‘Dep’ performers on-call to cover all eventualities and reserves the right to use one or more Deps should the need arise. The Act agrees that any ‘Dep’ performers utilised will have equivalent ability and represent the Act to the customary manner in which the Act has portrayed themselves to the Event Planner.
If a suitable ‘Dep’ performer is available, the Act will utilise them rather than cancel the booking. A reduction or increase in the booking fee for the use of a ‘Dep’ performer is not applicable and neither does it constitute grounds for cancellation or any refund, unless the Act being replaced is of significant celebrity.
